The 3-day Visit from (Wednesday 02 till Friday, 04 November, 2016) of Oxford University Press Mobile Bookshop at FCCU Campus was warmly welcomed by FCCU Rector, faculty and students. The beautiful OUP Bus stationed in front of Sinclair Hall, presented a spectacular view. It remained a great attraction for FCCU Community with special discount offers.
The event was opened on Wednesday, at 10:00 am, by Dr. James Tebbe, Rector, FCCU, along with Mr. Tariq Had, Regional Sales Director, OUP. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was done by honorable Chief Guests. Dr. Tebbe presented a bouquet to Mr. Tariq Haq and appreciated OUP Mobile Bookshop initiative with thanks.
A wide range of books were on display on 24 subjects : Anthropology, Archeology; Art & Architecture; Biographies / Memories / Letters; College & Higher Education Text Books; Dictionaries and Reference/ General Books; Ecology / Environmental Studies; Economics; Education; Exploration / Travel; History; International Affairs; Islamic Studies; Language; Law; Literature; Media Studies; Music / Performing Arts; Pakistan Studies; Philosophy; Politics; Sociology; Strategic Studies; Women’s Studies.
A large number of faculty and students purchased the discounted books in their subjects areas from the Bookmobile and greatly appreciated the FCCU Librarians for their support.
